Just a few steps from where we live is a nice shaded trail with Bay trees and the Redwoods making a canopy overhead.
Every so often, we will spot a stag or a deer, or a fawn, traversing and sharing our paths. They are quiet, but curious. This one stared at us for a while before politely disappearing into the woods.
