Resting on an avocado tree
We were deep in the field of mustards at UCSC farm today. There is nothing more fun for the kids than to walk through these tall plants, pretending to make their own maze. Claire kept worrying about the farmers : "They will be mad at us!" she kept saying.
I am pretty sure it was okay for them to walk through just once since this is winter crop, planted to help enrich the soil before Spring when the real planting season begins again. Or at least I am hoping that is the case...
